Earlier this week Jon Jones claimed that a move to the WWE in the future was "inevitable". The UFC Light Heavyweight Champion told Sports Illustrated of his plans after defending his title in a contentious decision this weekend at UFC 247 against Dominic Reyes.

If Jones did decide to switch the Octagon for the squared circle, he would join fellow former UFC champions Ronda Rousey, Brock Lesnar, and Cain Velasquez in the WWE's ranks.

However, not everyone is happy about Jones' plans.

Becky Lynch spoke at a media event for WrestleMania 37 yesterday:

"Inevitable, really? That’s a pretty big word. Look, I think that people think this is a cakewalk. There is nothing like what we do and it’s not as simple as just walking in here. You have to make a name for yourself and you have to be obsessed with it. You have to love this."

The Raw Women's Champion continued:

"This isn’t a thing where you have a fight every 6 months. This is a thing where you’re fighting three, four, sometimes 7 days a week 52 weeks a year. For people thinking that it’s an easy thing that they can just stroll into, it kinda irks me."
