Backstage update on Becky Lynch's WWE status for SummerSlam 2021.
Becky Lynch will attend WWE SummerSlam 2021 on 21 August, reports PWInsider's Mike Johnson.
There is currently no indication, however, that the former Raw and SmackDown Women's Champion will appear on-camera in what would be her first WWE appearances since May 2020. All that's known is that she is currently scheduled to be in Las Vegas that night.
Lynch has been backstage at several WWE events in recent months, including July's Money in the Bank pay-per-view, fuelling comeback speculation that kicked into overdrive when Becky teased appearing at WrestleMania 37. Her return is yet to come to fruition - and it looks like fans will have to wait a little while longer.
As reported last week, Lynch isn't expected to mount a comeback until sometime this autumn.
Having risen to prominence as WWE's foremost organic star in 2019 and 2020, Lynch took a leave of absence from the company following the 11 May 2020 episode of Raw, on which she announced she was pregnant. Relinquishing the Raw Women's Title to Money in the Bank winner Asuka that evening, Lynch gave birth to her and Seth Rollins' first child, Roux, in December.
