Becky Lynch ISN'T Part Of WWE's SummerSlam 2021 Plans

If not SummerSlam, then when? Latest update on Becky Lynch's WWE return.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider is reporting that Becky Lynch won't be part of WWE's SummerSlam 2021 plans.

Johnson did also say that "plans can always change", but noted that the timescale for Becky's TV comeback doesn't include anything on the August pay-per-view. That makes sense, because there isn't really a spot for Lynch on the card anyway.

Nikki A.S.H will defend the Raw Women's Title against both Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley in a Triple Threat, and Bianca Belair is set to defend her SmackDown belt against the returning Sasha Banks on 21 August.

WWE's current schedule suggests that October is the most likely return date for Becky. That'd give the company plenty of momentum heading into the final few months of the year, and then Lynch could set her sights on a memorable Royal Rumble-WrestleMania 38 run.

Again though, "plans can always change", but it's not like WWE needs Bex for SummerSlam.

Of course, a late injury could force their hand. Lynch has been pictured training hard for a comeback, and even recently dyed her hair back to a familiar orange sheen.

Look out for 'The Man' in a few months.
