All of that was signified here and winning the International Championship isn't just a matter of obtaining a midcard title, but a sign that Ospreay may lead AEW into the next era.

With this belt, we can assume he will be prominently featured for quite a while, defending the championship on a regular basis and being entrusted to tear down the house at future pay-per-views as a marquee name no matter who his opponents are.
