Having seemingly retired at WrestleMania 42 last month, Brock Lesnar made his shocking WWE return on last night's Raw.

There, the Beast somewhat answered Oba Femi's open challenge. As Oba performed his entrance pose in the ring, awaiting his next opponent, he was attacked from behind by Lesnar, who subsequently performed four F-5s on his 'Mania 42 opponent and left him lying.

Following that attack, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce and Paul Heyman had a segment backstage where Pearce told Heyman that he'd filed retirement papers for Brock Lesnar. Countering that, Paul presented Pearce with a contract for a Lesnar vs. Femi rematch at WWE Clash in Italy later this month.

Of course, WrestleMania 42 saw Brock lose to Oba Femi in a fairly one-sided match, which was followed by the ten-time World Champion taking off his boots and gloves in a move that's traditionally done to signal the end of an in-ring career. Regardless of your thoughts on Brock Lesnar, this was a fitting send-off as he headed off to supposed retirement - cleanly putting over the next big thing in front of 50,000+ on the WrestleMania stage.

However, since WrestleMania 42, there have been conflicting reports on whether Brock really was done with pro wrestling. As seen last night, the 48-year-old has at least one more match in him, as he gets set to rematch with Oba Femi at Clash in Italy on Sunday, 31st May.

While that rematch has yet to be made official, it makes Clash in Italy an even bigger PLE, joining WWE Champion Cody Rhodes vs. Gunther, and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns vs. Jacob Fatu in a Tribal Combat bout; three huge matches for the Turin, Italy crowd to take in.
