As we suspected earlier this week, the angle with Brock Lesnar "breaking the arm" of Triple H is expected to eventually build towards a match between the two at WWE SummerSlam 2012 in July. We had heard previously that a Brock Lesnar vs Randy Orton match was in the works, but it is believed Triple H pushed for a match against Lesnar as he has never wrestled the superstar in a singles contest. The only time we can find that they ever shared the same ring was a pay-per-view match in Australia between Triple H vs The Rock vs Brock Lesnar ten years ago. Lesnar signed a lucrative limited contract with the WWE in April and made his first appearance on the Raw show the night after WrestleMania 28. To date, WWE has already used five of Lesnar's limited dates in the first month of his contract so the storyline that played out on Monday is expected to keep Lesnar off tv for a couple of months. He will not likely return until late July or early August for the build-up to SummerSlam. Lesnar will be used as sparingly as possible this year as they need him for a build-up to a marquee encounter at next year's WrestleMania, whether that ends up being against The Rock or The Undertaker or Steve Austin, or whomever. There is also a potential re-match with John Cena somewhere down the line but WWE made it clear to both superstars that their feud was a one-match program at this stage. WWE officials are half-expecting Lesnar to quit at any moment, so they were desperate to job him out to their top superstar early. Lesnar was told he would be beaten by Cena at WWE Extreme Rules several weeks back and had no problem putting Cena over as he has no ego and is all about the money at this stage, however he was dissapointed with Cena's post-match speech and how the company swerved him over the finish.
