Brock Lesnar's WWE SummerSlam Matches Ranked - From Worst To Best

3. Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H (2012)

For some reason, Brock Lesnar's matches against Triple H are considered an acquired taste by many pro wrestling fans. There are those who feel the men don't possess excellent chemistry together, whilst others think the collisions they've had have been hard-hitting and satisfying. Generally, a Steel Cage Match at Extreme Rules 2013 is considered the best from their trio of bouts. SummerSlam 2012 is also deserving of some serious praise. Admittedly, 'The Game' and 'The Beast' didn't really do themselves justice at WrestleMania XXVIII. That match arguably failed to live up to the hype, but SummerSlam the previous year was far more enjoyable. The build-up to the encounter had been visceral, with Lesnar kayfabe breaking the arm of Shawn Michaels on Monday Night Raw. That only added fuel to the fire, and fans were very interested to see the main event of SummerSlam. The fact Lesnar vs. Triple H was allowed to close out the Pay-Per-View definitely helped. There was a big-match feel to the showdown, and the wild brawling nature of the action only enhanced that. There was some surprise when Brock was handed victory via submission, especially considering his loss to John Cena months earlier at Extreme Rules. Again, that result only made things better.
