Bully Ray believes that WWE is "becoming like a fast food chain", stating that the brand having a lot of customers doesn't equate to quality.

Bully, who still goes by Bubba Ray Dudley in WWE, made these comments on Busted Open Radio on Monday. The former ECW star was criticising a SmackDown segment between WWE Women's Champion Tiffany Stratton and Evolution opponent Trish Stratus, saying the promotion hadn't given him a reason to care about Stratton, offering the "fast food" comment.

"Why should I care about Tiffany Stratton?', Bully asked (h/t Wrestling Inc.). "What about Tiffany Stratton makes me care? What does she do? What does she say? What type of emotional investment do I have in Tiffany Stratton?"

"This is why I'm telling you, WWE is becoming like a fast food chain, that continues...you continue to go there cause it's all you know," the pundit continued. "Just because over 99 billion have been served doesn't mean it's nutritional food. It does absolutely nothing. I do not care about the match between Tiffany Stratton and Trish Stratus. Nothing about what those women said to one another made me go 'Wow. I want to see this.' Nothing."

Evolution 2025 has not been a box office hit for WWE so far, selling less than 5,000 tickets by the last count, putting it on course to become one of the lowest-attended main roster PLEs in years. Stratton vs. Stratus is theoretically one of the biggest matches on the card, along with Women's World Champion IYO SKY vs. Rhea Ripley and Women's Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch vs. Lyra Valkyria vs. Bayley.

Beyond his media work with Busted Open, Bully Ray currently serves as a mentor on WWE LFG (Legends & Future Greats), focusing on developmental talent competing to "win" an NXT contract.
