Chad Gable Accidentally Reveals Himself As El Grande Americano (WWE News)
Could El Grande Americano actually be Chad Gable...?
Did WWE's Chad Gable just reveal himself to be El Grande Americano?
With Gable having been out of action lately due to an unspecified injury, he spent Sunday watching a Minnesota Twins baseball game. And when interviewed, the Olympian revealed that the injury he's dealing with is a rotator cuff injury, for which he could be seen sporting a sling.
Chad explained how he's looking at the positives of this situation, which is that he can spend time at home with his family and, in a rare occurrence, he's able to attend a baseball game. However, when asked about the proudest moment of his career, the Minnesota native may have let the cat out of the bag.
You see, the moment Gable is most proud of is having his first-ever WrestleMania singles match this past April.
Of course, Chad Gable was technically not on the WrestleMania 41 card. On the flip side of that, one person who was in action at this year's Showcase of the Immortals was a certain El Grande Americano, who picked up a win over Rey Fenix.
Chad Gable says having his first singles match at this year's WrestleMania is the moment he's most proud of.
“Back in April, I had my first singles match at WrestleMania. That was, so far, the crowning moment of my WWE career.”

It could well be that Chad simply misspoke, or maybe he's on certain strong medications as part of his recovery, for the 39-year-old was clearly not on the WrestleMania 41 line-up whatsoever.
As it stands, Chad Gable has never had a WrestleMania singles match, and his most recent 'Mania contest of any kind was back at WrestleMania 39, where he and Otis lost to the Street Profits in a fatal four-way tag team match that also featured the Viking Raiders and the tandem of Braun Strowman and Ricochet.
For El Grande Americano, though, he's now 1-0 at WrestleMania thanks to that win over Fenix. And while Gable is currently recovering from that rotator cuff injury, El Grande has been confirmed to be challenging for the AAA Mega Championship at Triplemania 33 on August 16. El Hijo del Vikingo is the defending champion there, with Vikingo putting that title on the line against Americano, Dragon Lee, and Dominik Mysterio in an event that's now been confirmed to stream live for free on YouTube.
