Danhausen Set To Do Even More Big Business (WWE News)
Several NFL teams have interest in working with WWE's Danhausen.
After the major success of his work with the New York Knicks, it appears there are plenty of other sports teams eager to get themselves into the Danhausen business.
Via WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, at least three NFL teams have expressed an interest in working with the Very Nice, Very Evil star in some capacity, which could include potential live appearances at NFL stadiums.
As for that crossover between Danhausen and the New York Knicks, one WWE source told WrestleVotes that the response to that working relationship was unlike anything WWE has ever experienced in terms of a talent generating crossover interest from a professional sports athlete.
Of course, the New York Knicks won their first NBA Championship in 53 years this past June, which nicely coincided with Danhausen uncursing them in April. After the Knicks' already-iconic comeback to cement a 4-1 series win over the San Antion Spurs, Danhausen congratulated the team and demanded, amongst other things, a mural at Madison Square Garden, a giant blimp between Snoopy and Garfield, a house on Sesame Street, and a role in Severance Season 3. That was followed by a whole bunch of Danhausen/Knicks merchandise, and the MSG-hosted July edition of WWE Saturday Night's Main Event saw Danhausen bring in the Knicks' Karl-Anthony Towns as backup to help him pick up a win over JD McDonagh. And now, it appears that several NFL teams are eager to strike up their own working relationships with Danhausen and WWE.
