Who Should Beat Him: Joseph Conners

Admittedly, some will raise an eyebrow or two at this pick. Joseph Conners hasn't been positioned as a top guy on NXT UK to date, and he might come out of left field for most. Trawl back through the WCPW/Defiant archives though and you'll see a confident heel champion who had the best run of his career.

Before reaching WWE, Conners was a revelation on the UK indy scene. If Walter ever decides he would like a full-time stab at NXT proper in the States, then they should give someone new a chance to shine. Conners deserves it - he's a bit of a hidden secret in WWE circles at the moment.
