Who Should Beat Him: Timothy Thatcher

The North American Title is a sure sign someone is going places. For Damian Priest, it's a natural step forwards for a guy who must surely be on Vinnie Mac's "main roster" radar. When that time comes, NXT will need a new midcard champion to lead them through.

Make it technical Tim.

Thatcher's matches have a realistic, violent quality to them that has helped him stand out. It'd feel like a victory for smash mouth grapplers if he was chosen as Priest's successor somewhere down the line. Timothy holding that gorgeously old-school belt would just look right.
