What was he doing at the time?

Being R-Truth. Having had an unexpected heel turn and run against John Cena followed by a tag spell with The Miz, Truth gradually embraced the audience once again and kicked off the next phase of his career; do-absolutely-anything-and-stay-over-guy. In this case, he was down in Full Sail University for non-televised duties against Epico, who happened to be accompanied by Abraham Washington. More on both of those elsewhere in this list.

What is he doing now?

Being R-Truth. The announcement that his contract wasn't going to be renewed in 2025 resulted in a groundswell WWE seemingly weren't remotely prepared for. He was brought back for a shocking conclusion to a John Cena PLE match, but immediately jobbed out to 'The Champ' when it mattered and put right back where he was as a human comedic interlude for-hire. He was still able to sew gold out of wool, becoming a Tag Team Champion alongside Damian Priest on SmackDown in the absence of either of them having anything else better to do. Based on how things went the last time, he'll likely get the chance to keep doing it too.
