15. Jason Jordan

What was he doing at the time?

Jason Jordan was on the wrong end of a defeat to Jinder Mahal on one of the first episodes of the new NXT, but it'd take a couple of new frontiers for him before he'd turn those fortunes around. Pairing up with Chad Gable in 2015 during a peak for the brand helped Jordan find what finally fit, and even then he had to work through a less successful unit alongside Tye Dillinger first. A gifted wrestler who seemed bare minimum good at almost every aspect of the job from the very beginning, the trick with Jordan was showing on the outside the confidence he held locked within. 

What is he doing now?

With a career cut devastatingly short due to injury in early 2018 (admittedly off the back of a wildly uneven 2017 that included him being revealed as Kurt Angle's son), Jordan has since taken up a role as producer within WWE. It might not be the route he imagined taking as a prodigious Performance Center standout in the mid-2010s, but it's kept him as close to the action as he could realistically be.
