Much like Rollins cashing in was the only way to salvage the main event of last year's WrestleMania, finding a way to get Daniel Bryan into the big match of WrestleMania XXX was WWE's only hope of avoiding a full scale riot. Imagine if this had not happened. and instead we had to sit through Randy Orton vs. Batista as the main event of the biggest WrestleMania of all time? Daniel Bryan's performance at WrestleMania XXX is well-documented and highly praised, but this still doesn't feel like it does it enough justice. He single-handedly defeated all of Evolution (well, with the exception of Ric Flair) despite all of the odds being against him. He suffered a post-match beatdown by Triple H earlier in the evening, did a stretcher job in this match and yet still came out on top. It was an inspiring performance. The performances of Batista and Orton should not be overlooked either, as they toed the line between teamwork and combat extremely well. They worked together to put Bryan through a table with a Batista Bomb-RKO combo, before returning to seeing who would walk out with the belts. As the night came to a close neither man could lay claim to that prize however, as Bryan took the downpour of confetti to send the crowd home happy.
