13. Trish Stratus Vs. Victoria (c) Vs. Jazz - WrestleMania XIX
A year after the women had to follow Rock and Hogan, the title was defended in a triple threat match once more, although this time in a much more favourable position on the card. Victoria replaced Lita in the line up and was the champion heading into the match, leading to a much more solid contest. The bout was aided by Victoria, who can lay claim to being one of the most consistent women wrestlers of her generation. Steven Richards was at ringside accompanying Victoria for the match, and he got involved a little too often for my liking, but it did allow the heel champion to do anything and everything to keep her title. Trish was also picking up steam as a babyface at this point, and her progress in the ring was impressive to say the least. The interference from Richards would eventually backfire as he managed to hit himself with a chair via the ropes, leading to Victoria missing a Widow's Peak and Trish picking up the win one Chick Kick later.
