The late great Crash Holly was a joy to behold as Hardcore Champion, even if his 24/7 reigns were slightly tainted by the inferior version of the gag introduced to the main roster nearly two decades later.

The perfect wrestler given perfect gags by a company that had never felt more perfectly balanced between their creative and commercial endeavours, the opportunities the company took to make the most of the idea were matched by Holly's unending enthusiasm in the role.
