Controversial former WWE wrestler Dylan Miley, who competed as Lars Sullivan, is currently locked into boxing training with the goal of fighting for one of the Bare Knuckle promotions.

This is according to Dave Meltzer, who notes in this week's edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that while Miley is making a late entry into the combat sports business at 32 years old, he understands his age may be a hindrance to breaking into the industry but wants to compete regardless.

Miley was let go from his WWE contract in January. The former SmackDown performer requested to be let go due to long-term struggles with anxiety, revealing to Fightful that he was likely done with professional wrestling in general.

Thus ended one of the most tumultuous WWE runs in recent memory. May 2019 saw Miley fined $100,000 when a collection of ugly, bigoted message board posts he'd made prior to joining the company surfaced for a second time. A serious knee injury suffered the following month then put him on the shelf for over a year. He returned in October 2020, but was removed from television within a few weeks.

As previously reported, Sullivan was originally pegged for a monster push and matches with John Cena and Brock Lesnar upon joining WWE's main roster in April 2019.
