With WWE finally announcing a UK PPV in Cardiff, Wales this September, we've now got a few more pieces of information to share on events taking place in and around said premium live event.

As we exclusively reported last September, Cardiff's Principality Stadium will be hosting a huge PPV on Saturday 3 September. While that has now been confirmed by WWE, a source has reiterated to us that Vince McMahon's sports entertainment giant will also use this visit to put on a fan event and a TV taping.

The current plan is for WWE to run a WrestleMania Axxess-style event at Motorpoint Arena Cardiff prior to the premium live event. As is ever the case with such shows, this will give fans the chance to meet their favourite grapplers, see interviews with wrestlers, pick up some merchandise, and view pieces of memorabilia.

In addition to this, there will be a Raw TV taping on the Monday following the premium live event, although it remains to be seen where said TV taping will emanate from. WWE has used the Motorpoint Arena for live shows before - not to mention the NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff special - but the venue's 5,000 capacity might see the company opt to tape Raw from a larger venue. For instance, London's O2 can seat 20,000 fans.

This all ties in nicely with what WWE Senior Vice President of Live Events John Porco said earlier today as part of a press release announcing the Cardiff PPV. There, Porco mentioned that this September will bring a weekend "filled with a variety of WWE experiences".
