WWE has finally announced details of its first major stadium show in the United Kingdom in 30 years.

As confirmed via the promotion's corporate website, the event takes place at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales on Saturday 3 September 2022. The show's name is yet to be announced, however.

WhatCulture's Andrew Pollard exclusively reported on WWE's plans for a major UK-based supercard last September, stating that the market leaders were looking at a September 2022 date for what would be their first event of this nature on British soil since SummerSlam 1992. Now, it is official.

As well as being the first WWE stadium show in the United Kingdom for 30 years, this will be the promotion's first British pay-per-view in over 19. The last one, Insurrextion 2003, took place on 7 June 2003, and featured World Heavyweight Champion Triple H defending his belt against Kevin Nash in a Street Fight.

WWE has set up a link featuring a form for fans to be notified once the pre-sale commences for the untitled mega-show. Further information on tickets, the event's name, and more are expected soon.
