Final Member Of WWE Hall Of Fame 2023 Class Announced
The fifth and final member of this year's WWE Hall of Fame class has been announced.
WWE has today announced that Tim White will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of this year's class. A staple of WWE for decades, White is the recipient of this year's Warrior Award.
The news of Tim's induction was announced on today's episode of WWE The Bump.

Tim White's first foray into the then-World Wrestling Federation came back in 1985, with him serving as a part-time referee and the travel companion of Andre the Giant. Famously, Tim and Andre struck up a close relationship, and White has appeared on plentiful documentaries on the Eighth Wonder of the World over the years.
Once Andre passed away in 1993, Tim began working as a full-time referee for Vince McMahon's sports entertainment giant. That role would continue through until 2002, with the Rhode Island native having to retire following a shoulder injury suffered during the Chris Jericho and Triple H Hell in a Cell bout at that year's Judgment Day PPV. That said, White would come out of retirement for Jericho's WrestleMania XX showdown with Christian - though he would fully call time on his refereeing career after reinjuring his shoulder counting the winning pinfall in that match.
Timmy would remain with WWE through until 2009, serving as a backstage producer and assisting with talent appearances. Even after his departure from the company, White would still help out with certain talent appearances and visit for WWE shows. Of course, Tim's Friendly Tap bar would also feature in numerous WWE skits over the years.
This induction means that Tim is one of the first referees - joining manager-turned-referee-turned-General Manager Teddy Long - to become a part of the WWE Hall of Fame, and this honour is utterly deserved for someone who did so much in the ring and behind the scenes for the company. He joins Rey Mysterio, Great Muta, Andy Kaufman and Stacy Keibler in the 2023 Hall of Fame Class.
Tim White would sadly pass away in June 2022 at the age of 68.
