Former WWE star Wesley Blake has been back in the promotion lately, putting in a shift as a guest coach at the Performance Center.

This is according to Fightful Select. The former Forgotten Sons member, who now competes as Westin Blake, is well-regarded at WWE's training facility, having been there for a long time prior to his main roster elevation.

News of Blake's guest coaching stint arrives at a similar time to Santana Garrett, who had also been at the Performance Center lately. Fightful's update clarifies that this, too, was a guest spot, not a full-time role.

Blake was originally with WWE between 2013 and 2021. Rising in prominence through his tag team with Buddy Murphy in NXT, he later transitioned into the Forgotten Sons stable with Steve Cutler and Jaxson Ryker, leading to the trio being promoted to SmackDown in April 2020. Their run soon went awry when Ryker posted an ill-advised tweet using his wrestling gimmick to praise then-US President Donald Trump at a time of heightened racial tensions in the country, leading to backlash - with Cutler and Blake catching it sideways.

Released in April 2021, Blake has since worked for such promotions as Control Your Narrative AEW but hasn't yet landed a full-time deal.
