Could 'The Tribal Chief' be next for Goldberg in WWE? The former WCW Champion's comments yesterday certainly seem to point in that direction.

Goldberg was a guest on WWE's The Bump, during which his appearance as part of the ThunderDome wall when Roman Reigns battled Braun Strowman on SmackDown in October was brought up. On whether or not he has "unfinished business" with the reigning Universal Champion, Goldberg said the following:-

"Oh, I would say that is one of the mildest understatements that I have ever heard. He backed out on me at WrestleMania. He stole my move and he continues to perform it at a subpar level. Let's be perfectly honest, I'm the dude who delivers the spear. And I don't think that he understands what it's like until I deliver one to him. So Roman, it's coming and I'm coming for you. I may be old, I may be grey, but I'm still Goldberg."

That WWE.com were quick to post an article on Goldberg's words suggests something is in the works.

Reigns tweeted the following hours after Goldberg's statement, which could be a response:-

Goldberg and Reigns were originally supposed to wrestle each other at WrestleMania 36. Having defeated Bray Wyatt in Saudi Arabia, Goldberg found 'The Big Dog' positioned as his next challenger, with the duo engaging in a suitably intense series of face-offs over several weeks. Plans had to be changed when Reigns opted to stay at home at the onset of the global health crisis, with Strowman introduced as Roman's replacement.

Reigns defends the Universal Championship against Kevin Owens at TLC 2020 on 20 December.
