In a bold move, last night's AEW Dynamite saw Adam Page rule himself permanently out of the AEW World Title picture should he come up short against MJF at Revolution next month.

As Page and Max exchanged barbs about their storied history together, their hatred of one another, Hangman said that they need something big for their Revolution match, giving the Salt of the Earth the floor to suggest a stipulation for that bout. For MJF, though, he wasn't interested in any sort of stipulation, insisting that he'll defend his AEW World Championship against Hangy in a straight-up wrestling match.

Not happy with that prospect, Adam Page caught MJF's intrigue by stating he'll never challenge for the AEW World Title again in his life if he can't beat MJF at Revolution. While MJF immediately agreed to that, he then quickly said he'll take a week to think about things. Page then said that, should the match happen, it will be a Texas Death Match.

So, at Revolution, it appears that we're getting MJF vs. Adam Page in a Texas Death offering, where Page will be unable to compete for the AEW World Championship ever again if he doesn't get the W. Of course, that is if Friedman agrees to this next week or at some point between now and Revolution...

This marks the fourth singles match between MJF and Hangman, with Page defeating Max at last year's Revolution, then retaining the AEW World Title against him at Forbidden Door in August. As for MJF's win, that was all the way back in 2019 in the Dynamite Diamond Ring Final.
