IMPACT Wrestling Sign Sought-After Indie Star
IMPACT just took one of the independent scene's most wanted talents off the board...
'Speedball' Mike Bailey is heading to IMPACT Wrestling.
This was confirmed at a Destiny World Wrestling show in Ontario, Canada over the weekend, with IMPACT executive vice president Scott D'Amore offering the standout independent star a contract in the middle of the ring. Bailey then signed the deal on former IMPACT World Champion Josh Alexander's back, completing the ceremony.

Alexander, meanwhile, tweeted the following:-

IMPACT is yet to announce when Bailey will make his first appearance as a signed talent. The company's last set of television tapings took place in Las Vegas, Nevada on 24 and 25 October, keeping them well-stocked on footage for at least the next few weeks. Its next tapings are scheduled for 21 and 22 November at the same location.
Bailey has not wrestled in the United States since being hit with a five-year travel ban after attempting to cross the border from his native Canada in March 2016. This greatly hindered his career prospects, forcing him to primarily operate in Europe, Canada, and Japan, though he continued building a sizeable reputation regardless, particularly on the once-bustling European circuit.
WWE were reported to be interested in Bailey's services back in May, though nothing ended up coming of this.
