It's Official: WWE DGAF What You Think About Its AI SLOP (WWE News)
Regardless of criticism, AI is here to stay in WWE.
For those wondering where WWE stands on AI and its use moving forward, yep, there are seemingly zero plans for the company to pull back on AI usage.
Per WRKD Wrestling, WWE is "well aware" of the negative response to its use of AI, but they plan to "continue increasing" AI-generated material in the coming months.
While WWE is well aware of the negative online reaction to its use of AI in match graphics, promotional posters, and other materials, the company plans to continue increasing its use of AI-generated content both on and off screen over the coming months. pic.twitter.com/HXdi4gfHtW— WRKD Wrestling (@WRKDWrestling) July 25, 2026
While many fans have lambasted WWE for its use of AI in promotional material, the continued and increased use of AI will likely come as no surprise for any fans of WWE's sister company, UFC, with UFC President Dana White being a keen supporter of the technology. In fact, when asked about criticisms of UFC's AI usage during a post-fight press conference earlier this year, White bluntly said for those critics to "shut the f**k up and watch the fights".
For WWE, their AI usage came back to bite them in an extremely embarrassing way earlier this year, with an AI-generated AAA video spotlighting Dominik Mysterio... showing Dirty Dom with an AEW-branded championship around his waist at one point.
Regardless, and despite its many flaws and regular criticisms, AI, much like in UFC, is here to stay in WWE for the foreseeable future.
