Jack Perry's AEW Contract Expiring Soon (AEW News)
Jack Perry's AEW contract is "up".
AEW's Jack Perry is currently in the midst of negotiating a new deal with Tony Khan's promotion.
Per Bryan Alvarez of f4wonline, Perry's existing AEW deal is "up" and he's in talks to remain #AllElite.
An AEW Original, Jack has had both singles and tag team success during his years with the company, most recently having a run as the AEW National Champion, and previously having won the AEW Tag Team Championships with Luchasaurus, not to mention winning the TNT Championship and the now-defunct FTW Championship.
As alluded to, Jack Perry's history with AEW dates all the way back to the company's inaugural event, Double or Nothing 2019, where he was a part of the 21-person Casino Battle Royale. Over the subsequent years, Perry has been a part of Lucha Express with Luchasaurus and Marko Stunt, was mentored by Christian Cage, turned heel on Hook, had that infamous incident with CM Punk, served a suspension, became the Scapegoat and joined the Elite, and eventually reunited with Luchasaurus. So, it's been quite the busy seven years under the AEW banner for the 28-year-old.
Of course, given his current contract status, there's always the possibility that Jack Perry could weigh up his options outside of AEW, though it seems that all parties are keen for Jack to remain in All Elite Wrestling right now.
Perry was last in action on the May 27th episode of AEW Dynamite, where he came up short against Mark Davis in the opening round of this year's Owen Hart Cup tournament.
