Jade Cargill has turned heel for the first time since signing with WWE in September 2023. She went rogue during Friday's episode of SmackDown after seemingly helping Tiffany Stratton fend off attacks from Kiana James and Giulia - Tiffany had just beaten Kiana one on one before the beatdown occurred.

Fans cheered as Jade raised Stratton's arm high in the air, but then Cargill smashed the reigning Women's Champion with a clothesline and stomped her leg around ringside using the steel steps. To hammer home the turn, Cathy Kelly asked Cargill why she'd do such a thing.

Jade's response? The world rewards power, not patience. That's one hell of a catchphrase, assuming it sticks.

Now, Cargill will face Tiffy for the belt at Saturday Night's Main Event on 1 November in Salt Lake City, Utah. That match had been on the cards for a while now, but Jade's heel turn gives it a little extra spice. Being honest, the story needed something just like it. There's been an insipid vibe to Cargill vs. Stratton ever since they first wrestled back at SummerSlam in early August.

Losing there, as well as Tiffany's generally stuck up attitude in promos and segments on TV since, gave WWE motivation to turn Jade bad. This is her 'Bad Bitch Era', and it could be a lot of fun. AEW fans will know firsthand how effective Cargill can be as a villain, but she's much more experienced in-ring now than she was during her time in Tony Khan's league.

The turn has received a largely positive response from fans on social media thus far.
