Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows Pulled From All WWE Live Dates
Is this a sign that the Good Brothers are on their way out?
News that Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows had turned down new multi-million dollar WWE contracts broke 10 days ago, sparking speculation that the struggling SmackDown duo were considering leaving the company when their current deals expire in September. Get ready for that speculation to intensify, because PW Insider are now reporting that the Good Brothers have been pulled from all upcoming WWE live events.
PW Insider do note that Gallows and Anderson are still in negotiations with the company. Regardless, this move doesn't look great for their long-term futures in the company, and it now looks increasingly likely that they could depart this summer.
Gallows and Anderson have worked just one SmackDown bout in 2019, losing to Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura on the 5 February show. Their 2018 was characterised by lengthy periods of inactivity, and it has been a long, long time since they were a pushed commodity, though reviving their alliance with AJ Styles was teased after they were transferred from Raw last year.
Aged 39 and 35 respectively, this is likely Anderson and Gallows' last chance to score a big contract from one of the sport's major promotions. Perhaps All Elite Wrestling will give them that opportunity.
