According to a report from PWInsider, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows were offered a set of updated contracts at this week's SmackDown tapings, coming months in advance of their current deals' expiration this autumn.

Despite the revised contracts apparently being worth "multi-million dollars", both the Good Brothers rejected the offers, with the intent of leaving the company when their time with the company runs down.

Several sources suggest that Anderson, 39, and Gallows, 35, feel their talents are being wasted in WWE, having essentially been used as filler in a largely irrelevant tag team scene since their big arrival back in 2016.

Since rejecting their new deals, the duo have supposedly been nixed from all upcoming lives events - though they still remain an ongoing part of television.

Obviously the situation could change between now and September, but the news of the tandem's wantaway status is sure to have alerted a number of people within the industry. Prior to joining WWE, the Good Brothers were an intrinsic part of New Japan's Bullet Club, making a return to the company an easy fit. Given the pair's advancing age, it's more likely their heads have already been turned by cash-flush AEW, whose president Tony Khan has already promised to revive tag wrestling in a big way.
