Latest 'Hangman' Adam Page Injury Update, AEW Issues Statement
Backstage update on 'Hangman' Adam Page after Dynamite concussion - and AEW's full statement.
All Elite Wrestling has released an official statement following 'Hangman' Adam Page's injury on last night's episode of Dynamite, confirming, unfortunately, that the popular star has suffered a concussion.
Page was hurt while wrestling Jon Moxley in the Dynamite main event. Referee Paul Turner called Dr. Michael Sampson into the ring after 'Hangman' took a nasty-looking Bulldog Lariat from Moxley, leading to the officials decreeing the World Title challenger was unable to continue - and the bout being called.
Stretchered out afterwards, Page was nonetheless able to flash a thumbs up to the live crowd as he was being taken away. Now, AEW has confirmed that despite being discharged from a trauma center in Cincinnati, Ohio, 'Hangman' is on the company's concussion protocol:-

PWInsider had reported following the incident that Page had been taken to the hospital.
AEW staff were quick to respond to a situation that brought their night's main event to an untimely end, with Turner and Sampson acting quickly and decisively. This has drawn the attention of former wrestler and Concussion Legacy Foundation co-founder Chris Nowinski, who praised Turner and Sampson, saying their actions "gives us the best chance for a good outcome":-
Sending positive thoughts to Hangman. This was not a high risk move. Something went wrong. Ref Paul Turner is trained to recognize a #concussion or a possible neck injury & stopped match. @DocSampson13 was ringside & there in seconds, gives us the best chance for a good outcome. https://t.co/wLbzKZa5xD
