The wrestling world currently has its fingers crossed for 'Hangman' Adam Page, who was stretchered out after suffering an injury while wrestling on last night's AEW Dynamite.

Page was facing AEW World Champion Jon Moxley in the night's main event. His problems arose when Moxley connected with a running Bulldog Lariat on the challenger, knocking him down hard. 'Hangman' went limp as soon as he hit the deck, drawing referee Paul Turner's attention, with AEW medic Dr. Michael Sampson brought into the ring soon after.

Moxley stepped away from Page as the crew tended to him. Seconds later, Page was determined to be unable to continue, with the referee's stoppage ending the match in Moxley's favour.

The mishap left AEW's broadcasting team - and Moxley - with time to fill. Meanwhile, Page was stretchered out, though he was at least able to flash a thumbs up to the arena while being carried away:-

It was reported almost immediately (by PWInsider and other outlets) that Page had suffered a suspected concussion. This has since been confirmed.

All the best to 'Hangman' in his recovery after such a worrying, ugly spot on television.
