Having not been seen on AEW programming since November 2024(!), Kamille made her shock return during the Dynasty pre-show last night.

There, Kamille attacked AEW TBS Champion Willow Nightingale backstage, repeatedly ramming Willow into a metal door and leaving her laying.

The former NWA Women's Champion would then face Big Anne as part of the Zero Hour, picking up a dominant victory in barely a minute. Post-match, Nightingale came out to try and get some revenge on Kamille, though the Brickhouse was too powerful for Willow, and the TBS Champ was again left laying - with it clear that Kamille was coming for Willow's title.

For Kamille, she's not been seen since the 29 November 2024 episode of AEW Rampage - a show that's not even existed for 16 months now - where she was attacked by a mystery assailant. And with that, she completely vanished from TV. Making that absence even more puzzling, AEW was at one point promoting the Queen of the Ring movie, in which Kamille had the notable part of June Byers, yet decided against using Kamille in that promotional push.

In terms of a match, prior to last night's Zero Hour, Kamille last wrestled for AEW in October 2024, in a losing effort to Kris Statlander that marked the formal end of Kamille's on-screen relationship with Mercedes Moné.

During her time away from AEW, Kamille worked on the aforementioned Queen of the Ring - the Emily Bett Rickards-fronted Mildred Burke biopic - and she's also a part of Amazon Prime's American Gladiators reboot, which, coincidentally, premieres this Friday.
