Having only debuted with AEW a matter of weeks ago, last night saw Tommaso Ciampa turn heel on AEW Collision.

On Collision, it was Ciampa taking on Daniel Garcia, with Mark Briscoe on commentary; the story here being that all three men are former TNT Champions. After Garcia and Briscoe got into it verbally, Mark ended up on the ring apron, where Ciampa was thrown into him. From there, Garcia grabbed a quick pin to get the 1-2-3.

Post-match, Mark Briscoe tried to calm things down by offering a handshake to Tommaso Ciampa, though Ciampa swatted that hand away. As Tommaso then had a staredown with FTR in the aisle, Briscoe stood alongside him to even the odds. However, with Briscoe clearly not being familiar with NXT TakeOver: Chicago 2017, Ciampa threw Chicken into the video wall, hit him with the big running knee, then spat on Briscoe's bandana before wiping his backside with it.

Following that, it's been announced that Tommaso Ciampa and FTR will take on Mark Briscoe and the Young Bucks on this coming week's Dynamite, ahead of AEW Revolution next weekend.

Ciampa has also posted a video online, cutting a promo from his car, talking about all of the shots Briscoe has already had at the TNT Title, how Tommaso is the best pro wrestling in the world, how he's tired of being disrespected, and warning that the Psycho Killer is very much alive. And with that, we have the hugely intriguing prospect of a fully villainous Tommaso Ciampa in the world of All Elite Wrestling.
