Mercedes Becomes 13-Belts Moné At HOG Superclash (AEW News)
Ultimo Moné adds another belt to her collection.
As she gets ready to challenge for the AEW Women's Title at Full Gear next weekend, Mercedes Moné has now become 13-Belts Moné.
Mercedes was in action for House of Glory last night, competing at the Superclash special from Amazing Red's promotion. There, AEW's CEO defeated Nor 'Phoenix' Diana for the APAC Women's Championship, bringing an end to Phoenix's second reign with that title at 763 days. For those not familiar with APAC, it's a promotion out of Malaysia that's been in existence since 2020.
For Mercedes Moné, she is the AEW TBS Champion, the AEW Women's Owen Hart Cup Champion, the CMLL Women's Champion, the RevPro Undisputed British Women's Champion (which also includes the Queen of the Soutside Championship), the EWA Women's Champion, the Prime Time Wrestling Women's Champion, the BestYa Women's Champion, the Discovery Wrestling Scottish Women's Champion, the BODYSLAM Women's Champion, the interim ROH Women's TV Champion, the WPW Women's Champion, and now the APAC Women's Champion.
As alluded to, Mercedes faces Kris Statlander for the AEW Women's Championship at Full Gear on Saturday, but Ultimo Moné actually has the chance to add another slice of gold to her collection before that. Announced over the weekend, this week's AEW Dynamite will see Moné put her interim ROH Women's TV Title on the line against ROH Women's TV Champion Red Velvet in a title unification bout. While a unification would usually be the merging of two titles into one, Mercedes will surely parade those two titles around as separate entities should she emerge victorious against Red Velvet, positioning Mercedes Moné as 14-Belts Moné heading into Full Gear.
