You can text AEW's Mercedes Mone whenever you like, but it won't come cheap!

AEW star Mercedes Mone hasn't worked a match since losing the TBS Title to Willow Nightingale on the 31 December 2025 edition of Dynamite (New Year's Smash), but it doesn't look like she's short of a few pennies whilst on hiatus.

Speaking via an appearance on 'We Playin' Spades', Mone revealed that she charges $99.99 for one single text message. The hosts were shocked by this, but Mercedes (surely still staying in character) called that price "very low". She said it's the best way for her biggest fans to stay in touch, hear about what she's been doing that day etc.

Mone also added: "I teach them". She is, of course, referring to her CEO gimmick there.

The gold-laden All Elite star launched her own in-house text messaging service in April 2025, but nobody really has any clue how successful it is. Mone doesn't have to disclose exactly how much cash she's made from the venture, but someone out there must've forked over some serious money to have a little back and forth conversation.

Mercedes noted that other services had been set up pretending to be her in the past. Fans paid through the nose for texts from someone posing as Mone, and she says she doesn't like to see her fanbase getting "scammed". So, she elected to start texting direct from the source...at a price. A big price!

The hosts asked Mone if she indulges in any flirtatious banter with fans, but she said: "No, no sexy stuff". The texts she sends during this sabbatical from AEW screens are purely surface level.
