If we thought thumbtacks were unconventional, this takes matters to a whole new level. One such instance took place back in Foelys ECW days in a match against the aforementioned Terry Funk. Funk brought a flaming branding iron to the ring and proceeded to blow the fire into Foleys face, causing the flames to erupt around his opponent. Its difficult to tell how much of the flames actually caught Foley, but in all likelihood he probably managed to evade them completely. Funk proceeded to probe his downed foe with the weapon though, in a truly bizarre hardcore segment. Had Funk caused more damage, this would undoubtedly have been placed higher on the list.
