Reigning AEW World Champion and shy, retiring type MJF has fired back at TNA President Carlos Silva in a spectacular rant on Busted Open Radio. Amongst other things, Friedman called Silva "disgusting" for "pulling young talent off of shows when they're barely paying them any money". Of course, he's referring to the fact his bout vs. Nic Nemeth (and another match featuring Ricochet vs. Leon Slater) were scrapped from independent shows reportedly at Silva's request.

MJF is particularly salty about his match vs. Nemeth being called off, but aimed blame squarely at Silva's door regarding the Slater situation too. "Does that help young talent grow? Does that help young talent become better inside the squared circle?", he asked.

The AEW star continued his verbal assault on the TNA President via X. He quoted a story on Silva's complaint about Collision going head to head with Impact, but Friedman was having none of it - he said: "This guy is actively a dumb motherf***er". He then defended the Collision bump due to AEW bering pre-empted by basketball games.

Elaborating, MJF added: "Congrats, You pay your talents s***, then force them off shows where they can make money". At the end, he included the classic "#loltna" hashtag for good measure.

Carlos hasn't offered a rebuttal to these comments at time of writing, but let's just say there's a very good chance he won't take kindly to anything Friedman is saying about him or TNA.

PWInsider (via The Wrestling Observer) has revealed that Silva believes it's in TNA's best interests to limit their wrestlers from matching up against those from other companies. Obviously, their working relationship with WWE means things are different there.
