Multiple Wrestlers Hacked In Fake Shoe Scam
AEW's Lance Archer was amongst the wrestlers hacked on Twitter last night.
A number of prominent North American wrestlers were caught up in a string of Twitter hackings on Wednesday, including AEW's Lance Archer.
Archer's Twitter account was taken from him on the night he returned to AEW television for the first time since October. From an alternative account, the big man tweeted the following, letting his followers know not to accept any direct messages from his usual handle:-
This is Lance. My main account ??????.

The @LanceHoyt account has since been locked. It is currently unknown if Lance has regained access and opted to do this himself, or if it was the hacker.
Former IMPACT Wrestling star Ace Romero was also hacked, as pointed out by Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp, who was subsequently blocked by whoever had taken control of the account:-

Sapp had previously tweeted that some of the affected wrestlers had fallen victim to a scam promising free shoes. Upon logging into the scammers' website using a Twitter or Instagram login, they will steal your information:-
Several of the wrestlers getting hacked are due to a free shoe scam. They have you go to a site, log in with your Twitter/IG and steal your password.

These latest hackings come just one month after somebody broke into Bray Wyatt's Twitter account, then used it to try and sell PlayStations in another obvious scam.
