Mysterious New Toni Storm Tapes DROP, Foreshadowing AEW Return (AEW News)
'Timeless' Toni Storm's AEW return appears to be in motion.
Having been entirely absent from AEW programming for the past seven months, could Toni Storm's AEW return be in motion? Seemingly so.
Timeless Toni was last in action at AEW Revolution back in March, where she picked up a win over Marina Shafir. Since then, the former four-time AEW Women's Champion has been off TV - all as fans continue to speculate on the reason for this absence.
However, content creator Astrid Pizarro discovered The Toni Storm Tapes at AEW WrestleDream over the weekend, which was a series of five analog cassette recordings, sealed in a brown paper package, and sealed with a kiss. Renee Paquette is the narrator of these tapes, and the tapes themselves feature, amongst other things, Toni living out her everyday life and giving advice.
Update
Renee is the narrator
She says the following: since March 18,2026 no one has seen or heard from Toni
So last Wednesday, a package arrived at the AEW office in Jacksonville, Florida

While Toni Storm hasn't wrestled since Revolution, she did briefly appear on the post-Revolution edition of Dynamite, where she was found "murdered" backstage. As part of that, her long-time friend Mina Shirakawa promised to find out who'd attacked Toni, vowing revenge. The mystery surrounding that attack has gone quiet in recent months, though it could well be revisited as and when Storm makes her eventual return to TV.
Either way, it appears that Toni Storm could well be back on our screens sooner rather than later.
