New Update On Randy Orton's Return
Randy Orton has been away from WWE TV since June. Here's the latest on his comeback.
Randy Orton's ongoing absence from WWE could come to an end as soon as this weekend.
The veteran is currently being advertised for Saturday's WWE Supershow in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, as well as Sunday's event in Detroit, Michigan. These are untelevised, dual-brand house shows featuring wrestlers from both Raw and SmackDown.
Orton's name is also on the list for Monday's episode of Raw in Chicago, Illinois.
"Card subject to change" is an eternally applicable disclaimer in professional wrestling, however. Don't be surprised if plans change, pal.
Randy has been away from WWE programming since the 21 June episode of Raw, on which he lost a Money in the Bank qualifying match to John Morrison. Looking visibly frustrated after tag partner Riddle's qualification, Orton has been kept in WWE fans' minds through the former UFC fighter, who constantly mentions and imitates Randy on television.
There is currently no word on why, exactly, Orton has been off television for the past month, though Fightful Select reported last week that Randy's name was listed on the company's disabled/inactive list. If current advertising holds true, this may be about to come to an end.
