Triple H has something interesting in mind for Nikki Bella on WWE Raw.

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that recent comeback queen Nikki Bella could be set for a brand new role on WWE television in the near future. According to rumours, Bella may well be turned into a heel manager who acts as a mouthpiece for unspecified workers on the active roster.

This would mark a huge departure from what Nikki has been doing since returning to the roster herself earlier this year. In lieu of a follow on comeback from her sister Brie, Nikki has been working against all comers in the women's division on Raw - she's wrestled 2 title PLE matches since against Becky Lynch (for the Women's Intercontinental belt at Clash In Paris) and vs. Stephanie Vaquer (for the Women's World Title at Survivor Series: WarGames).

Most expected Bella to launch headfirst into the tag ranks after the Lynch match in August, but Triple H had different plans for her. Now, there's a decent shout for trying on something totally different with Nikki. Would she work as a heel manager similar to what Kiana James is doing with Giulia over on SmackDown?

There's no doubting Bella's confidence and tenure, but she's never been regarded as a top promo artist across multiple spells in the company. It's certainly worth trying on for size just to find out what happens though.

Bella's Comeback Matches Haven't Been Received Well

Generally, WWE fans have rejected both of Nikki's big title bouts on PLE to date. The match with Becky at Clash In Paris was clunky and struggled to get going. Meanwhile, her scrap with Vaquer at Survivor Series was better but still felt like a weak addition to the show's lineup.

Perhaps it'd be for the best if Bella tried something fresh. Who knows? She could unlock some hidden late-career potential and turn into the next coming of the Sensational Sherri. Don't laugh. Anything is possible, and no-one can really slag WWE for experimenting.

All going well, Nikki could help some fresh stars bed onto the main roster. Or, ideally, she'd protect a few workers who struggle on the mic. She'd be no Paul Heyman, but Bella could surely do a decent enough job as a legacy mouthpiece who can also take a kicking for her charges when the time calls for it.

This is all just speculation, but something new could be coming Nikki Bella's way soon.
