Nikki and Brie Garcia have shared their thoughts over the sex trafficking lawsuit filed against WWE, Vince McMahon and their stepfather John Laurinaitis.

In a statement posted to their joint X account, the former Bella Twins said;

“We are shocked and disheartened with the recent allegations against members of the WWE. It has been a lot to process since we found out this past week, just as you all did. This is something we don’t stand for or condone from anyone no matter who they are. We want all women to feel safe and supported in the workplace and in their everyday lives.”

Laurinaitis was named alongside McMahon in the suit, as first reported by the Wall Street Journal last week. The extent of the details shocked all of those who read it, and ultimately led to McMahon resigning in disgrace from his position within TKO.

Laurinaitis is related to the Garcia Twins by marriage to their mother Kathy Colace. The pair were wed in March 2016, with Laurinaitis featuring on the former Divas Champions' "Total Bellas" reality show. The pairs' contracts with WWE expired on March 14th 2023, coinciding with them taking on their real life Garcia name rather than the company-branded label that had been with them for their decade-plus WWE careers.
