4. Please Do Something Different
Now, it's not a new thing for a WWE booker to continually push an unstoppable monster heel well beyond the point of goodwill from the fanbase, but last night definitely felt like an opportunity to do something different with Shayna Baszler.
After a great match, the ending fell flat and the crowd were not pleased. Sure, that's part of booking a heel, but still, there's heat and there's cheap heat.
It also made no sense in the logic of the match. We'd just watched Bianca pull off the Herculean feat of lifting Io and Sane together, and then she tapped because she couldn't get out of Shayna's lock-up? That is not believable story-telling.
Could it be that they're setting up Candice to be the one? Lots of people on social media seem to think so...
