Predicting Where EVERY Released WWE Star Will Sign Next
9. Erick Rowan
This was surprising. Axing the entire Wyatt Sicks, whose whole schtick was a direct tribute to the life of the late Windham 'Bray Wyatt' Rotunda, who tragically passed away while still under WWE contract, left a sour taste in the mouths of many. The group peaked with their incredible June 2024 debut angle, sure, but it was still a major disservice to the effort all five put in to memorialising 'The Eater of Worlds'.
Now, Erick Rowan is likely done. Of the appearances he made between his first and second stints with WWE, very few were for a credible outlet, with the bulk of his output being for indie promotions that even the most ardent of Cagematch prowlers won't have heard of. Sign him up for lifelong convention bookings.
Destination: Retirement.
