Once more, both Chamber matches were fantastic (Edge retaining the World Heavyweight title, John Cena winning a WWE Championship match), and made the show a thumbs up on their own. What was truly, and shockingly, memorable from this event was the WWE title match between The Miz and Jerry Lawler. Lawler went to work at age 61, and one week removed from the death of his mother, putting together a remarkable underdog story with Miz in his element as the sniveling villain that you want to see go down in flames. In an era where seemingly every match has to be a car crash to pop the crowd, it's nice to see the basics work. RECOMMENDED MATCH: The first Chamber match, with Edge winning. Miz/Lawler, as good as it was, was merely the third best match of the show. Match of the night honors go to the Chamber bout, particularly the final ten minutes or so, which belong to Edge and Rey Mysterio.
