Tatanka was riding a tenure-long undefeated streak, and had pinned Michaels in non-title situations twice leading up to the event (man, that sounds like today). The two opened up the Roman-themed WrestleMania with this title bout, which curiously featured the debut of Luna Vachon in Michaels' corner. With Sensational Sherri seconding Tatanka, Luna would play the part of violent nullification. As for the match, it's Michaels in his prime, and even with his swelling 1993 beer belly, he was still one of the premier workers in the business. Like the previous two matches on the list, it ended with an unsatisfactory finish (a countout), and more emphasis was on Luna's mauling of Sherri. Probably Tatanka's best WWE match, actually.
