Ranking All 30 Of The Undertaker's WWE Years From Worst To Best

2. 2008

'The Demon of Death Valley's renaissance continued well into 2008 as - annual summer hiatus aside - he once again found himself in the main event picture throughout the whole of the year and, in the process, put on some exceptional performances.

His long-teased rivalry with Edge finally took center stage as a strong performance inside the Elimination Chamber paved the way for a main-event showdown at WrestleMania 24 that brought the house down. From there, the pair would meet in multiple different match variations before 'Taker laid the Rated R Superstar to rest in an amazing Hell In A Cell match at that year's SummerSlam. That said, the most impressive thing about the pair's rivalry might have been 'Taker's performance in their TLC match because the 43-year old veteran looked suprisingly at home in what was undoubtedly a youngster's environment.

To say that 'Taker was on top form all throughout 2008 would be an understatement. Steel cage matches, Last Man Standing matches, Ladder matches - you name it, he delivered it. Even his somewhat lacklustre year-ending program with Big Show still managed to produce two barn-burners that were far better than they had any business of being.

Yet another unforgettable year for 'The Deadman'.
