Ranking Every WWE WrestleMania Main Event - From Worst To Best
22. Roman Reigns vs Daniel Bryan vs Edge (WrestleMania 37, Night 2)
Not every WrestleMania main event needs to be rich in storyline to feel like it's worthy of headlining the biggest show in WWE's calendar. In the case of the 2nd night of WrestleMania 37, the generation-spanning star appeal of the veteran Edge, the indie god Daniel Bryan, and WWE's main man Roman Reigns in a triple threat for the biggest prize in WWE felt more than enough to justify its means.
A year on from his shock return to WWE at the Royal Rumble, Edge won the 2021 Royal Rumble after entering at number 1 and vowed to win back the WWE Championship that he had never lost. After he confronted each of the champions from Raw, SmackDown, and NXT, he eventually chose Reigns and the Universal Championship by spearing him on SmackDown and pointing to the WrestleMania sign. With Daniel Bryan still heavily in the hunt for Reigns's title, he was then added to the main event after Edge ruined his title shot at Fastlane by taking out both Bryan and Reigns with a steel chair.
Reigns would make a giant statement in the main event, landing the Con-Chair-To on both Daniel Bryan and Edge, then pinning them both at the same time. Fans were warming towards accepting Roman Reigns as WWE's most dominant force, and cool moments like this were a giant leap from the lame schtick he'd been saddled with for most of his solo career.
