WWE legend Rey Mysterio has penned a lovely tribute to fallen friend Eddie Guerrero to mark the 20th anniversary of 'Latino Heat's' passing. During his trip down memory lane, Rey focused on the great work his son Dominik has been doing since debuting as a wrestler in 2020. In just 5 years, 'Dirty Dom' has gone from fresh faced rookie who was tagging with his dad to one of the focal points of Judgment Day and a killer heel.
The similarities between Dominik and Eddie were not lost on Rey Rey. He said in the article that his son "feels like a love letter to so many of the things that made [Eddie] so special", then joked that Dom has "the sleazy (no offense) stache, the terrible (no offense) mullet, the ugly (no offense) jewellery and clothes".
Further, he's proud of how far Dominik has come as a worker, and he knows Eddie would be too: "...and I’ll tell you the number one trait of Dom’s that’s a love letter to you, Eddie - and I bet you already can guess what I’m about to say here, too. The worse he behaves, the more they cheer!".
